  • Professor Yoh Dobashi, MD, PhD, graduated from, Gunma University School of Medicine, Japan, in 1984, he had started his carrier in the postgraduate school as a pathologist and a basic researcher in the Department of Pathology, Gunma University, Japan. After the training there, he had become a staff in the Department of Pathology, Yale University and its affiliated hospital as a resident physician and a research fellow until 1990. He received the Doctoral Degree (Ph.D) at Faculty of Medicine, University of Tokyo in 1992 and have worked and studied at the Department of Oncogene Research, Research Institute of Microbial Disease, Osaka University, Kitasato University and Jichi Medical University. Prof. Dobashi has a wealth of experience in the diagnosis of pathology, in particular, for cancers of the lung. He also has a more cutting-edge research in the tumor of lung and soft tissue sarcomas. He has got involved in the molecular pathology and cell biology of a variety of lung cancers. He currently serves as an expert in molecular biology/pathology of lung cancer at Department of Pathology, The International University of Health and Welfare as a board-certified Pathologist and Cytolopathologist. As other academic activity, he has been a member of Councilors of Japanese Society of Pathology, the Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology Tokyo Branch of the Japanese Society of Clinical Cytology and The Japanese Cancer Society. Also, he works as an Editorial Board Member of in many of academic journals listed above.
