- Dr. Yen-Sung Huang is a Project Research Fellow at the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Graduate Institute of Aerospace and Undersea Medicine, National Defense Medical Center. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Graduate Institute of Life Science, National Defense Medical Center in 2009. Dr. Huang has been recognized with several awards, including the Postdoctoral Researcher Academic Research Award, Research Competition Award, EMBL Registration Fee Fellowship, and Thesis Competition Award. He has authored 22 papers with over 944 citations, six of which have been published in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications, Molecular Cells, Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, and the Journal of Pineal Research. Dr. Huang has also served as a reviewer for Biomedicines, BMC Molecular Biology, Cancers, Current Pharmaceutical Design, Genes, International Journal of Cancer, Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, Life, World Journal of Surgical Oncology and Open Medicine Journal. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the Life journal. Dr. Huang's research interests primarily revolve around the molecular mechanisms of Daxx, SUMOylation, MTNR1A, melatonin and non-coding RNA, and their roles in cancer and membranous nephropathy.
