Short Bio
- I have been the head of the Laboratory of Radiobiology of the Greater Poland Cancer Center since 2009 and since 2020 a Professor at the Electroradiology Department of Poznan University of Medical Sciences. My main research areas are the analysis of the radiobiological response of tumours and normal tissues to applied cancer therapy, including conventional radiotherapy, proton therapy, FLASH therapy, and radiochemotherapy or radioimmunotherapy. I am also involved in research in the field of searching for new prognostic markers in cancer treatment, the biology of cancer stem cells, regenerative medicine, induced pluripotent stem cells. I am a co-author of nearly 80 publications, manager of several research grants and a member of several scientific societies (i. a. ASTRO, ESTRO, ERSS)
