Short Bio
- Dr. Mohamed Saleh Abdelfattah was born on 1972 in Cairo, Egypt. He was awarded his Ph.D. in 2004 from the Institute of Organic and Biomolecular Chemistry at the University of Göttingen, Germany. In 2005, he joined the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Kentucky, USA as a postdoctoral fellow. In 2009, he joined the School of Pharmaceutical Science, Chiba University, Japan as a postdoctoral fellow funded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). Now he is a Professor and Director of the Natural Products Research Unit (NPRU) at Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. The scientific activities of Dr. Abdelfattah resulted in more than 60 original papers in the international journal of the field and PI of several national and international Research Projects. Additionally, he is the main supervisor of more than 10 master’s and Ph.D. students at Helwan University, Egypt.
