- Prof. Rosario Caltabiano (Catania, 1-10-73) in 1998 graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Catania and subsequently obtained a specialization in Dermatology and Pathological Anatomy at the University of Catania. From 2008 to 2014 he was a Researcher at the University of Catania in Pathological Anatomy (SSD MED / 08). From 2015 to today he is Associate Professor at the University of Catania in Pathological Anatomy (SSD MED / 08). As can be seen from the publications, the research fields of Prof. Rosario Caltabiano concern inflammatory and tumor dermatopathology, neuropathology, head and neck pathology and uveal melanoma. The professor. Caltabiano is a member of numerous national and international scientific societies and is a member of the editorial board of international scientific journals. He has organized numerous scientific conferences and has been a speaker at various scientific events both in Italy and abroad. Since 2019 he is Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Riga Stradins University (Latvia) and Visiting Professor at the International University of Goradze (Bosnia Herzegovina).
