Alternative Medicine in Cardiovascular Health

Cardiovascular diseases remain a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, driving the need for innovative and effective treatment approaches. This special issue, titled "Alternative Medicine in Cardiovascular Health," aims to explore and evaluate the role of alternative medicine in the prevention, management, and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. Alternative medicine encompasses a diverse range of therapies and practices, including herbal remedies, acupuncture, dietary supplements, and mind-body interventions. This special issue seeks to highlight the latest research, clinical evidence, and emerging trends in these alternative approaches, assessing their efficacy, safety, and potential integration with conventional cardiovascular care. The issue will cover topics such as: - The impact of herbal supplements on cardiovascular risk factors and outcomes. - The role of acupuncture and other traditional practices in cardiovascular health. - Evidence-based dietary interventions and their effects on heart health. - Mechanisms of action and clinical outcomes of alternative therapies. - Integrative approaches combining conventional and alternative treatments for cardiovascular diseases. By bringing together cutting-edge research and expert perspectives, this special issue aims to provide a comprehensive overview of alternative medicine in the context of cardiovascular health. It will foster dialogue among researchers, clinicians, and policymakers, and contribute to the advancement of integrative strategies that enhance patient care and outcomes. We invite contributions from researchers, practitioners, and scholars to advance our understanding of alternative medicine's role in cardiovascular health and its potential to complement traditional therapies.
