Recent advances in diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic complications

Type 2 diabetes mellitus is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. Not only type 2 diabetes mellitus, but also its chronic complications are needed to be diagnosed early for successful treatment results. Type 2 diabetes causes significant burden in healthcare systems. Timely diagnosis and treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus and its chronic complications have utmost interest. In this special issue, we aim to publish articles about recent diagnostic and prognostic tools in type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic chronic complications. We also aim to publish articles about management of type 2 diabetes mellitus and diabetic complications.
