Short Bio
- My research focusses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of synaptic pathology in a range of neuronal disorders, ranging from early-life stress and ageing-induced cognitive decline. My focus has been on evaluating redox and bioenergetic deficits as well as synapse-specific functions of neurotransmitter release and signaling. I am also interested in devising and testing therapeutic strategies for amelioration of synaptic dysfunction.
