Short Bio
- Graduated in Genetics from the Faculty of Exact, Chemical and Natural Sciences of the National University of Misiones, Argentina in 2000. Later, obtained her Master's and PhD degrees in Biological Sciences (Area of concentration: Genetics) from the at the Department of Genetics from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (USP) (2003 and 2006, respectively). She held a postdoctoral position at the Department of Childcare and Pediatrics at the same institution (2007-2009) where she continued as an associate researcher with the support of the FAPESP Young Researcher Program (2010-2013). Obtained her habilitation in the area of Genetics at USP in 2021. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor MS5-1 (RDIDP) in the area of Genetics at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, USP .
