- Nam Deuk Kim is a Professor of Pharmacy at College of Pharmacy, Pusan National University in Republic of Korea. He finished his Ph.D. degree on Human Cancer Biology at University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. His research interests are cancer biology with focus on molecular mechanisms of cell death such as apoptosis and autophagy, cell cycle regulation, regulation of hypoxia-induced gene regulation, developments of chemopreventive agents with synthetic and natural compounds, and development of nutraceuticals for myodifferentiation and muscle strengthening. He has published more than 220 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as editorial board member of several reputed journals, such as International Journal of Oncology, Oncology Reports, International Journal of Molecular Medicine, and International Journal of Molecular Sciences.
