Short Bio
- Prof. Jung was born in 1974. Jung received B.S., M.S., and PhD in Chemistry from Pukyong National University in 1999, 2001, and 2005, respectively. Dr. Jung is currently a full professor in Pukyong National University. The interest of research focuses on marine-derived natural materials, and their biomedical applications such as tissue regenerative 2D and 3D devices with multidisciplinary sciences including physiology, medical biology, organic chemistry, fabrication engineering, tissue engineering, pharmacology. In detail, he has developed marine bioactive molecule-integrated 2D hydrogels and 3D scaffolds for skin and bone tissue regeneration via in vitro and vivo study. Dr. Jung have published over 220 papers in the recent 15 years which were totally cited over 8,800 times, with H-index being 48 and i10-index being 121, and 15 book chapters. Dr. Jung serves as Editor of the academic journal Combinatorial Chemistry & High Throughput Screening, Associate Editor of Current Bioinformatics, Review Editor of Frontiers in Genetics, Frontiers in Plant Science, Molecular Medicine Reports, Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Antibiotics, Journal of Current Pharma Research, Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences, Journal of Marine Bioscience and Biotechnology.
