Short Bio
- Dr. Vassilios Papadopoulos is the Dean of the School of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California. He holds the John Stauffer Decanal Chair in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is Professor of Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences at USC. Dr. Papadopoulos' research focuses on the pathophysiology of diseases related to altered steroid hormone synthesis, including endocrine pathologies, male reproductive disorders, neurological diseases, and cancer. He is an elected member of the French National Academies of Pharmacy and Medicine and an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, and the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
