Short Bio
- I am Professor of Cancer Biology and Associate Director for Basic Sciences for NCI-designated Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Comprehensive Cancer Center. My research program is focused on understanding the biology of breast cancer, breast cancer brain metastasis, and glioblastoma, and use gained knowledge for developing novel more effective treatments for all three tumor types. In addition to running a well funded collaborative research program, I am actively training PhD and MS students, as well as, physician scientists.
